My New Symbol

I decided to create a new symbol for my website and my business cards. My old symbol was a red square, and I thought I needed something a little more creative and update. So the first thing I did was to hand draw a bunch of symbols, and I really didn’t like any of the drawings that i made.

To get better symmetrical shapes, and to make sure that everything was lining up straight. I decided to go with ADOBE Illustrator to help make my symbol. If you don’t know, Illustrator is awesome for manipulating basic shapes. I first tried to make a “M” that looked very ornate and had swirly lines that would intersect on the edges and middle of the symbol, but it looked horrible and I don’t want anyone to see it. Then I came up with these two symbols.

I posted the two symbols on my facebook to see what everyone liked the most, and after some heated debate with my friends decided they liked the first symbol the most for my website. Let me know what you think, or if I need to go back to the drawing board.

The new mitchellpaasch.com

Welcome to the new mitchellpaasch.com. Thanks to the magnificent Chris Wolff I now have a great WordPress sight using the ORIGAMI theme. Let me know what you think, and let me know if I need to add new features.

Next on the to do list is a custom logo. Looking forward to your input.
